Who am I? 

I’ve spent twenty years building systems for the children most likely to fall through the cracks — across four school districts, from the classroom to the executive table. What I didn’t expect was that I’d also become one of the parents sitting across that table, fighting for my own child inside the same systems I help lead.

That dual position — practitioner and parent, leader and caregiver, expert and human — is not incidental to my work. It is my work.

I’m the author of Holding Both: Leading and Loving Without Certainty, a narrative memoir about what it actually looks like to lead when your own life won’t hold still. The book is currently seeking a publishing home.

I speak and consult on leadership in complexity — what it means to lead without a map, to hold competing truths, and to build cultures where steadiness doesn’t require perfection. My work is for leaders in education, healthcare, social services, and any human-centered field where the stakes are high and the answers are incomplete.

I offer keynotes, workshops, and leadership consulting for organizations navigating uncertainty. I also coach individual leaders carrying invisible weight — those who are leading and grieving, leading and caregiving, leading and holding more than one hard thing at the same time.
